On December 11, 2022, at 3:30 pm, there was a shramadhan in preparation for Christmas at Mother of God Church. Around 40 parishioners attended and cleaned the church and surroundings.
The Food Expo. for Mission Sunday was observed at Shakthinagar Church on October 23, 2022. Parishioners came together to prepare the Pork Bafat, Ragthi, Chicken Chilli, Kebab, and breakfast on the previous day. On the day of the celebration, the Holy Eucharistic mass was held at 7:30 am. Shakthinagar Church had solemn celebration of the Blessed Virgin Mary’s Nativity on September 8, 2022, at 7:30 am. As a sign of reverence and affection for Mother Mary, the parishioners offered her flowers. The new corn was blessed and then carried to the altar by the Gurkars. Fr. Gerald Dsouza presided over the solemn Eucharistic celebration.
